Helen grew up in Wales, and after studying at Exeter College of Art, worked as a graphic designer in London, Singapore and Grand Cayman. She went on to earn a Masters degree in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, and now lives and writes in the Cotswolds with her family and lurcher pup. Helen has published three children’s books with Chicken House.
